The Oakland Township Historical Society participates in community events, seasonal programs, and fundraisers throughout the year. These activities help share local history while supporting the Society's preservation work.
Annual Plant Sale
The Oakland Township Historical Society sells perennial plants each year during Greater Rochester Heritage Days.
The plant sale provides an opportunity to meet OTHS volunteers while helping support the Society's preservation and local history activities.
Flumerfelt Flea Market
OTHS traditionally holds a fall barn sale at Cranberry Lake Farm as a fundraiser for the Society.
Items for sale typically include antiques and collectibles, vintage pieces, farm and rustic items, and household goods.
Donations are generally accepted before the sale.

Down on the Farm
Cranberry Lake Farm opens for family activities each fall with old-time farmstead activities, music, and opportunities to experience the historic property.
The event is presented by the Oakland Township Historic District Commission in partnership with the Oakland Township Historical Society, with support from Oakland Township Parks and Recreation and Dinosaur Hill Nature Preserve.
Cranberry Cheer
Cranberry Cheer is a seasonal community event held at Cranberry Lake Farm.
